THE COVID HOKEY COKEY
I wrote the ditty below during the Covid panic-demic.
Yet, still today, like Pavlov's dogs, people continue to exhibit conditioned behaviour, wearing masks alone while driving cars, in shops, in the open air - just as the propaganda them to do.
"You put your paper mask on,
You take your paper mask off,
On, off, on off, shake it all about;
You put your mask on, and you take it off again,
That’s what it’s all about!
Oh! Do the Hokey Cokey ... !!!"
In our church, we comply with the rules, no matter how silly they are. When we arrive, everyone must wear a mask. It doesn’t matter if someone has a health condition that might be compromised by re-breathing their own carbon-dioxide. If you don’t comply, you’ll be politely asked to leave. For the safety of the majority, of course. With one exception. Apparently, the boffins in the Scottish Government have decreed that ministers, pastors and church leaders etc., may remove their fancy face-dress when ‘leading an act of worship’ or ‘addressing a public gathering’. Can it be any more ludicrous? Are we not being played for a bunch of fools? Any dope can see there’s no invisible, ‘anti-virus barrier’ between speaker and congregation. Yet, we play along. We, who are supposed to be valiant for The Truth, perpetuate the lie. We pretend that these obscene impediments to normal human interactions are keeping us safe. ‘On, off, on off, shake it all about…’
Keeping us safe! From what? A virus that for the vast majority of the population, is no worse than a very nasty chest infection. I grant you that. It is nasty. Sorry?
“Whaddya mean, ‘no worse’? It’s a worldwide pandemic! What about all those people who are dying? Have you no pity?”
Okay, how come 99.8 percent of most people infected with the virus, vaccinated or not, survive? And that percentage holds good even among the most vulnerable group, the 70 to 90-year-olds. The average age of death ‘from Covid’ is 82.4 years. Oh, and what about India and Ivermectin? (Shh! We’re not supposed to talk about that.)
If any of that’s true, some misguided people have been telling us a load of porky pies.
Jason Leitch, Nicola Sturgeon, Boris Johnson, Sajid Javid, Chris Whitty, Patrick Vallance, the BBC, et al., please show us the evidence that we’re in the middle of an ongoing medical emergency, and we’ll believe you. Show us the robust, peer-reviewed studies that prove beyond doubt that masks and lockdowns have any significant effect on the spread of viral infections. Tell us why undertaker whistleblowers observed an unusual increase in stillbirths after the NHS started telling pregnant women mRNA injections were safe. Tell us why the testimony of three military doctors in America, recently given under penalty of perjury before Senator Ron Johnson, that there has been ‘a 300% increase in DMED codes (Defense Medical Epidemiology Database) registered for miscarriages in the military in 2021 over the five-year average.’ (OP-ED Article on Blaze.com by Daniel Horowitz, January 26, 2022). Give us conclusive proof that recognised authorities in modern medical science – (well, they were, until so-called ‘fact-checkers’ via the BBC and Facebook etc., trashed their reputations) – Robert Malone, Sucharit Bhakti, Roger Hodkinson, Peter McCullough, Sunetra Gupta, Martin Kulldorff, Jay Bhattacharya and many, many other doctors, are wrong.
Unfortunately, unless the majority in my church, and in society at large, realise they’ve been ‘sold a pup’, this hokey-cokey of absurdities will go on forever.
